The Ware Fair takes over the CWU Student Union and Recreation Center with holiday festivities from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The free event is open to the public.

More than 50 artists from across the Northwest are expected to attend, selling hand-crafted jewelry, pottery, photography, artwork and other gifts.

Many student clubs and organizations use Ware Fair as a fundraising opportunity.

In the past, the Trombone Club has sold carols, the Ceramics Club has showcased its club members’ works and the Pre-Vet Club has made caramel apples.

Every vendor must pass a jury before they are able to sell their goods.

The event — a tradition on campus for 37 years — also will include food and live music.

For more information, please contact the Ware Fair coordinator at 509-963-3315 or warefair@cwu.edu

Parking is free on campus after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends.
