CWU offers voting help before election

ELLENSBURG — Central Washington University’s Election Assistance Center returns Nov. 4-5 to answer voting questions and help voters turn in a ballot, no matter where they come from in Washington, according to a news release.

The Election Assistance Center, open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 4 and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 5 in the Student Union and Recreation Center Room 137.

The center will have computers set up to allow anyone to print a ballot from any county in the state.

The county Auditor’s Office will provide two temporary ballot boxes to ensure everyone’s vote is counted.

The center is sponsored by the CWU student government and Center for Leadership and Community Engagement.
