Wealthy Latin Americans flock to US in search of vaccines

Alejandra poses with her vaccination card after getting her second Moderna COVID-19 shot Monday April 19, 2021, in Pasadena, Texas. Alejandra, a dentist who also lives in Monterrey, Mexico, said she decided to seek a vaccine in the U.S. shortly after losing her mother to COVID-19 in February. Many people with the means from Latin America are traveling thousands of miles to get the COVID-19 vaccine in the United States because supplies are limited in their own countries.
