Kittcom received the following calls on Aug. 22-23 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

A man reportedly was leaning against the wheel of a beat up Honda Prelude on South Canyon Road.

Water reportedly was seeping out of the ground where there had been road work on North Stafford Avenue.

A dachshund-mix reportedly was running in and out of the roadway on South Sampson Street.

Someone reportedly was bitten by a dog on North Alder Street.

A woman reportedly was screaming in an alley on North Oakes Avenue.

Someone reportedly was making a mess and needed to be removed on state Route 10.

Multiple college students reportedly were drinking in a parking lot and driving off on North Ruby Street while playing loud music.

A jack hammer reportedly was stolen on July 12 and never returned. 

Someone reportedly was rollerblading on No. 81 Road and told it was not safe.

An elderly man reportedly was driving 5 MPH on East Third Avenue and not using turn signals.

An injured turkey was reported on Saddle Ridge Loop.

A Mazada 3 reportedly was stuck in the sand on Lake Cabins Road.

A white two-door Toyota Corolla reportedly almost drove into a ditch when they pulled over on Westside Road.

Gun shots reportedly were heard on Red Fir Lane.

A makeshift skateboard ramp was built and left on Dean Nicholson Boulevard.

A small terrier reportedly was running in the roadway on Airport and Masterson Road

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on Aug. 22-23 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

A strong odor of natural gas reportedly was smelled inside a business on South Canyon Road.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Aug. 22-23 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

A 26-year-old Longview woman was arrested by Washington State Patrol troopers for failure to appear, possession of more than 40 grams of marijuana. Bail $3,000.

A 24-year-old Wapato man was arrested by the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear, assault, fourth-degree domestic violence and reckless endangerment domestic violence. Bail $5,000.

A 63-year-old Selah man was arrested by the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office for violating parole and operating a vehicle without and ignition interlock. Bail $10,100.

A 37-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear, second-degree possession of stolen property and third-degree theft. Bail $10,000

A 32-year-old Clarkston man was arrested by the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $5,000.
