n A tree branch was reported down over a lane of traffic on East Capitol Avenue and South Main Street.

n A wallet was reported stolen on West First Street in Cle Elum.

n There was a report of semi-trucks and trailers dumping debris on the roadway on Vantage Highway.

n Vehicles reporting were speeding on Nelson Siding Road.

n Speeding semis were reported on Westside Road.

n A collision was reported on Interstate 90, mile post 75.

n A semi reportedly was partially in the ditch on Main Street in Kittitas.

n A person reportedly was sitting in front of closed bank with his phone out on East Railroad Street in Cle Elum.

n A man reportedly was seen climbing in a window of a residence hall on East 11th Avenue, and then was seen jumping out of the window and taking off on a bike.

n A hazmat call was reported in the Science Building on the Central Washington University campus.

n A hit and run was reported in Cle Elum.

n A burglary was reported on North B Street.

n A group of people reportedly was smoking under a tree in a park and walking from the tree to the bathroom on North Pacific Street.

n There was a report of two motorhomes possibly casing the area on West 16th Avenue.

n There was a report of a man with a duffel bag and a rolling bag squatting in the alleyway between houses on East Third Street in Cle Elum.

n A hit and run was reported on West Washington Avenue.

n A person reported being stalked on South Canyon Road.

n A vehicle prowl reportedly was caught on video on East Fourth Avenue and North Ruby Street.

n A vehicle prowl was reported on Swiftwater Boulevard.

n A blue sports car with a spoiler reportedly drove in reverse at a high rate of speed on East First Avenue and North Walnut Street.

n A collision was reported on Main Street.

n A Kelsey Lane resident reported a golden retriever at her dog wanting in.

n A person reportedly called saying he was drunk and needed help finding his residence on North Wildcat Way.

n A six-pack of Rainier Beer reportedly was stolen on South Canyon Road. The suspect is bearded male wearing a ball cap and glasses.

n People reporting were riding dirt bikes onto property on Umptaum Road and scaring horses.

n A vehicle reportedly hit a dog on East Sparks Road.

n Someone reported hearing several gunshots on North Alder Street.

n A non-injury collision was reported on Watson Cutoff Road.

n A man who had been drinking reported he needed assistance getting home and was lost on East Bender Road.

n The driver’s side window of a vehicle reportedly was shattered on East Manitoba Avenue.

n A non-injury collision was reported on West First Street in Cle Elum.

n A guest reportedly left a firearm in a rental vehicle at Suncadia.

n A dead raven reportedly was on a back porch on East Patrick Avenue. The concern was it might have avian flu.

n A theft was reported on North Alder Street.

n A dog reportedly was tied to a tree for 40 to 45 minutes on North Pine Street.

n A collision between a vehicle and a deer was reported on state Route 821, mile post 10.

n A dog reportedly was left in a vehicle in a parking lot on North Pearl Street.

n A theft was reported on South Canyon Road.

n A cell phone was reported stolen or lost on East Mountain View Avenue.

n Two tan dogs reportedly were loose on East Dennis Street.

n A tornado was reported on Wilson Creek Road.

n A hit and run was reported on Pass Life Way.

n A neighbor reportedly was flying a drone around a neighborhood on Pitt Way in Easton.

n There was a report of six gun shots on Sparks Road in Easton.

n Two dogs reportedly were locked in a van on East First Street in Cle Elum.

n A theft was reported on North Ruby Street.

n An assault was reported on East Manitoba Avenue.

n A non-injury collision was reported at the roundabout on Bullfrog Road and state Route 903.

n A hit and run was reported on South Chestnut Street.

n A non-injury collision was reported on Forest Service Road 9716.

n An assault was reported on Rainier Drive.

n A person reported being chased by two large Labradors wearing chains on East First Street in Cle Elum.

n There was a report of a pitbull attacking other dogs on West Creeksedge Way.

n A phone and keys reportedly were stolen on North Okanogan Street.

Fire

n Smoke was reported in the Upper Peoh Point Road area.

n Smoke reportedly was coming from a vehicle on Bullfrog Road and Suncadia Trail.

n A power pole reportedly was on fire on state Route 10 and state Route 970.

n An outside fire was reported on Westside Road.

n Smoke was reported in Morrison Canyon.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Aug. 10-12 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 35-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for possession of a stolen vehicle and third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $5,000.

n A 57-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Central Washington University Police officers for failure to appear for second-degree criminal trespass and false or misleading statement to a public servant. Bail $3,000.

n A 23-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for reckless driving. Bail $3,000.

n A 24-year-old Salinas man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for third-degree driving with a suspended license and hit and run. Bail $5,000.

n A 64-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for possession/delivery of methamphetamine, third-degree driving with a suspended license and use of paraphernalia. Bail $10,000.

n A 25-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for obstructing a public servant ($1,000 bail) and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (no bail).

n A 64-year-old Yakima man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (no bail) and operating a vehicle without an ignition device ($1,000 bail).

n A 57-year-old Roslyn woman was arrested by Cle Elum-Roslyn-South Cle Elum Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. No bail.

n A 20-year-old Kent man was arrested by State Patrol troopers attempt to elude and reckless driving. No bail.
