Kittcom received the following calls on Aug. 3-5 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n Dump trucks reportedly were driving at a high rate of speed on Westside Road. Most of the trucks were red.

n The theft of $2,000 was reported on Cleveland Avenue.

n Construction workers reportedly put orange cones in parking spaces on West Sixth Avenue.

n Two teenagers reportedly were loitering in a parking lot on South Canyon Road.

n A hit and run was reported on South Water Street.

n A person riding a bicycle reportedly was struck by a vehicle on West Ninth Avenue and North Water Street.

n A man reported an aggressive dog was pushing him into his garage on East Remington Drive.

n Semis reportedly were driving at a high rate of speed on Nelson Siding Road.

n An injured red tail hawk reportedly was next to a mailbox on South Thorp Highway.

n A man with a tattoo on his neck and another man with a long-sleeve shirt that had “Biggy” on it reportedly were looking at vehicles on South Main Street.

n A group of four females, under the age of 18, reportedly were caught on camera shoplifting on North Pearl Street.

n A cow reportedly was walking down Vantage Highway before taking a right onto Fairview Road.

n A white Lincoln Continental reportedly struck a fence on Kittitas Highway.

n A black and red Herford cow reportedly was in the roadway on Kittitas Highway.

n A two-vehicle non-injury collision was reported on Sparks Road.

n A man reportedly screaming at vehicles as they drove by saying it’s a free cash wash on South Ruby Street. The reporting party thought it weird to be doing it so late at night.

n A theft was reported on Triple L Loop.

n A dead deer was reported on state Route 903, mile post 3.

n There was a report of someone with a flashlight in a tow yard on Canyon Road.

n A man was talking to himself and creeping other guests out on South Canyon Road.

n Young kids reportedly were making a lot of noise at an Air B&B rental on West Pacific Avenue in Ronald.

n A huge piece of guardrail was reported in Westside Road and Fowler Creek.

n A tree branch reportedly was across a sidewalk on North Ruby Street.

n Theft was reported on Broadway Avenue in South Cle Elum.

n Five subjects reportedly were stranded on a sandbar on the west side of the Columbia River near Vantage.

n Subjects reportedly were shooting handguns in Joe Watt Canyon.

n The toilet in the men’s restroom at Alder Street park reportedly was overflowing.

n A container reportedly had been broken into on Kachess Lake Road.

n There was a report that subjects flipped over in a tube and kayak upriver from the Ringer Loop boat launch on the Yakima River.

n There was a report of people target practicing behind a neighbor’s residence on Nelson Siding Road.

n A yard on Sagebrook Lane near Cle Elum reportedly smelled very strongly of dog feces.

n A paraglider reportedly landed in the middle of the lake at Gold Creek.

n A man in his 30s, with a ponytail, an eye patch and overalls with patches reportedly was looking through hotel windows on South Canyon Road.

n Items reportedly were taken from a vehicle on South Canyon Road.

n Black cows reportedly were in the roadway on Naneum Road.

n A woman reported that a prowler was possibly in her residence on North Middlecrest Drive.

n There was a report that there were two or three dogs in kennels with a strong odor of feces and urine on East Mountain View Avenue.

n A theft was reported on North Ruby Street.

n A Dodge Ram reportedly was keyed on West Sixth Avenue.

n An assault was reported on West Pennsylvania Avenue in Roslyn.

n A burglary was reported on Wilson Creek Road.

n A rolled up dollar with white powder in it reportedly was found on West Fourth Avenue.

n Two white cows reportedly were in the roadway on Hungry Junction Road.

n There was a report that a driver was on the phone while speeding on South Chestnut Street.

n There was a report of people shooting guns near children on Cabin Creek Road.

n A cell phone reportedly was stolen on West Illinois Avenue.

n A Honda Accord reportedly was sideswiped by a Hyundai Sonata on South Water Street.

n Dogs reportedly were locked in a vehicle on South Second Street and West Dakota Avenue in Roslyn.

n A theft was reported on North Brick Road.

n Dogs reportedly were locked in a vehicle and appeared to be distressed on South Canyon Road.

n A deer reportedly had its leg stuck in the roots of a tree on Whitehead Road near the Coal Mines Trail.

n Graffiti was reported on South Ruby Street.

n A man, who appeared to be inebriated, reportedly was stumbling in traffic walking toward the roundabout on West University Way.

n A small gray dog, that appeared scared or in distress, possibly with a hurt paw, was reported on North Ruby Street.

n A woman reported she was waling in dog on Water Street and a cattle dog started following her. Her dog does not like other dogs so she started carrying her dog but she felt she could not carry her dog much longer.

n An outside fire was reported on Hamilton Road and Upper Badger.

n A bonfire was reported on Cake Box Lane in Suncadia.

n A roaring fire was reported on Huntzinger Road.

n An outside fire was reported on Equinox Drive near Cle Elum.

n A smoke investigation was reported on Kachess Lake Road.

n A vehicle fire was reported on Interstate 90, mile post 80.

n A large bonfire was reported on White Road near Cle Elum.

n A vehicle fire was reported on Interstate 90, mile post 133.

n An outside fire was reported on Kachess Lake Road.

n A non-injury collision was reported on South Canyon Road.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Aug. 3-5 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 21-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for probation violation for minor in possession. Bail $2,100.

n A 53-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. No bail.

n A 49-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No bail.

n A 35-year-old Cle Elum man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Bail $75,000.

n A 59-year-old Tulalip man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail.

n A 54-year-old Tulalip man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail.

n A 37-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $3,000.

n A 33-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $5,000.

n A 23-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for third-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence. No bail.
