Kittcom received the following calls on Aug. 13-14 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n A solid black cow was reported in the roadway on Vantage Highway.

n A small dog reportedly was at large on Pearl Street.

n Walls reportedly were sprayed with an unknown substance on the fourth floor of a building on East Dean Nicholson Boulevard.

n There was a report of red dump trucks with trailers hauling gravel driving at a high rate of speed on Hidden Valley Road.

n Cattle was reported in the roadway on Wilson Creek Road.

n There was a report of a male subject on a motorcycle shooting a firearm on Howard Road.

n A Ford F-250 with a two-inch lift kit with mud tire and bumper stickers on the tailgate and bumper reportedly was stolen on South Canyon Road.

n A semi reportedly was in a ditch jack-knifed across thread on Tucker Lane.

n A non-injury collision was reported on West Davis Street.

n A white Nissan Sentra reportedly was stolen on South Water Street.

n A white GMC occupied by two males reportedly was blocking one lane of traffic on Berry Road.

n Miscellaneous items reportedly were in the roadway creating a traffic hazard on Gail Road and East Bender Road.

n A black bull reportedly was in and out of the roadway on Ferguson Road.

n A hit and run was reported on Pass Life Way.

n Low-flying aircraft were reported on Kerr Road.

n There was a report that man driving a Toyota Tundra pulling a motor boat on Shaft Street in Cle Elum got out of the vehicle, threw an empty beverage can in the back of the vehicle and got a new beverage from the cooler.

n A dog reportedly was locked in a pickup on East Mountain View Avenue. The dog seemed to be in distress.

n An overturned canoe was reported on the Yakima River.

n Two men reportedly were arguing over a woman via the phone and one said, “You might as well get it over now because it’s going to happen and you will have to worry about getting beat …”

n A Fitbike with chrome handle bars and pink/black pedals reportedly was stolen on East Sixth Avenue.

n No fire calls were received during this time period.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Aug. 13-14 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 50-year-old Kennewick man was arrested by Cle Elum-Roslyn-South Cle Elum Police officers for no contact/protection order violation. No bail.

n A 33-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for no contact/protection order violation, failure to appear for second-degree assault/domestic violence and failure to appear for fourth-degree assault. Bail $10,000.

n A 24-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Ellensburg Police offices for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $1,000.

n A 47-year-old Centralia man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for probation violation, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,000.

n A 46-year-old SeaTac man was arrested by State Patrol troopers fore failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,100.

n A 38-year-old Drydon man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $5,100.

n A 31-year-old Yakima man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license ($10,000 bail) and probation violation for third-degree driving with a suspended license (no bail).

n A 43-year-old Yakima woman was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $25,000.

n An 18-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for residential burglary and second-degree theft. Bail $50,000.
