Police | Kittcom received the following calls on Dec. 3-4 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A vehicle reportedly was being driven recklessly on the ice in a church parking lot on Brick Road.
  • An odor of marijuana was reported on East University Way.
  • A driver reportedly was spinning brodies on Tanner Way at Snoqualmie Pass.
  • A vehicle reportedly was stopped for driving the wrong way on state Route 97.
  • There was a report of people outside an apartment on South Pearl Street calling a person names.
  • There were reports of multiple vehicle prowl on East 18th Avenue.
  • A vehicle prowl was reported on East 19th Avenue. A laptop was reported stolen.
  • A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on Main Street and Manitoba Avenue.
  • A Toyota Tacoma reportedly rolled over on state Route 970 and Teanaway Road.
  • There was a report of road rage with a person brandishing a weapon and throwing a bottle on Interstate 90, mile post 93.
  • A Northwest Trek bicycle was reported stolen on North Alder Street.
  • A 2013 Ford Escape reportedly hit and knocked over a 15-minute parking sign on East 10th Avenue.
  • Cattle reportedly were loose in the area of Dudley Road.
  • A large grey dog with a black face was running at large on Pebble Beach Drive near Cle Elum.
  • A truck reportedly slipped into a ditch off of North Brook Court.
  • A vehicle reportedly turned of West Bender Road to North Water Street with an incorrect blinker and drove onto the sidewalk.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on South Canyon Road.
  • There was a report of several vehicles coming and going at high speeds from Reed Park.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on Dec. 3-4 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A carbon monoxide alarm was reported on East Sixth Avenue.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Dec. 3-4 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 42-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $100,000.
  • A 39-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers on a warrant for first-degree trafficking stolen property. Bail $20,000.
  • A 33-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance. Bail $5,000.
  • A 55-year-old Marysville man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail $5,000.
  • A 53-year-old Sumner man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for a probation violation/third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $2,100.
  • A 35-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Kittitas Police officers for failure to comply with third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $15,000.
