  • A gunshot reportedly was heard on Viewpoint Road.
  • A vehicle was reported in a ditch off of Thrall Road and Cleman Road.
  • A woman reported her Subaru Forester was moved from a handicap parking spot while she was in church Sunday on South Willow Street. She was sure the vehicle was locked and believes someone may have a key to her vehicle.
  • There was a report of a person yelling and dancing in a parking lot on North B Street.
  • A vehicle was reported in a ditch off of Hungry Junction Road.
  • A vehicle was reported in a ditch off of state Route 97.
  • A collision involving two trucks was reported on Kittitas Highway and South Matthews.
  • A Toyota Highlander reportedly slid into ditch off of Kittitas Highway.
  • A tree fell down and reportedly was blocking a lane of travel on Canyon Road and Woodhouse Loop.
  • An ongoing problem of theft of garbage services was reported on East 14th Avenue.
  • A man reportedly requested that law enforcement come and take drugs and alcohol out of his son’s room in Ellensburg.
  • Two large husky dogs were reported on East Helena Avenue.
  • Two men reportedly were yelling at each other on North Ruby Street.
  • Someone reportedly broke into a scale house on South Bullfrog road and stole work clothing.
  • A semi truck reportedly hit a parked vehicle on Gladmar Road.
  • An assault was reported on Cleveland Avenue in South Cle Elum.
  • Two dogs reportedly were chasing cats on West Fifth Avenue.
  • A man reportedly was seen breaking into an apartment on North Alder Street.
  • Trucks reportedly were doing burnouts in a church parking lot on North Brick Road.
  • A man reportedly punched a woman in the face at a gas station on state Route 97.
  • There was a report of an ongoing problem with juveniles driving erratically and doing donuts on North Willow Street.
  • A person reportedly was playing a clarinet outside on South Pearl Street.
  • Three men reportedly were seen trying to get into vehicles on North Chestnut Street.

  • No fire calls were reported in this time period.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Dec. 2-3 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 24-year-old Vantage man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,000.
  • A 24-year-old Bellingham man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for probation violation/reckless driving. Bail $3,000.
  • A 55-year-old Silverdale man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and harassment/domestic violence. No bail.
  • A 26-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Kittitas Police officers for no contact order violation. No bail.
  • A 34-year-old Granite Falls man was arrested by Cle Elum-Roslyn-South Cle Elum Police officers for obstructing a public servant. Bail $1,000.
