Kittcom received the following calls on Dec. 5-6 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

A large black truck reportedly hit a building on East First Street.

A theft was reported at Dugmore Hall on the Central Washington University campus.

Beer reportedly was stolen from a business on West First Street.

A white milk jug with house numbers reportedly was stolen off a porch on East Seventh Avenue and North Walnut Street.

An assault was reported on state Route 97.

A theft was reported on North Ruby Street.

A resident on West Fifth Street in Cle Elum reported vehicles driving up and down the street, but that there should be no traffic on the street at that hour.

A vehicle prowl was reported on Swiftwater Boulevard.

A pitbull reportedly was standing in traffic on North Chestnut Street.

A vehicle with a handicap sticker reportedly ran a stop sign and struck another vehicle on North Alder Street and East Dean Nicholson Boulevard.

A chair reportedly was in the roadway on Interstate 90, mile post 104.

A man reportedly was pacing inside a laundromat, talking to himself and pounding on tables on South Water Street and East Washington.

A vehicle reportedly stopped at a stop sign on Wiehl Road and Red Bridge Road. The reporting party thought it was suspicious because he’d never seen the vehicle in the area.

There was report of a Mazda pickup with a camper shell following a corrections vehicle on Interstate 90, mile post 78. The driver of the Mazda had a crossbow on the dash aimed at the driver of the corrections vehicle.

A man in a black hat, black coat, black pants and sunglasses reportedly had a pocket full of unknown items and a large knife sticking out of his side right-hand pocket on Blue Spruce Drive near Cle Elum.

A Chevy Equinox reportedly was side swiped by a Honda CRV on West Dry Creek Road.

A person who purchased a new home on North Pacific Street reportedly was told by the real estate agent that there could be a person squatting in a shed on the property. Men’s clothing, a washing machine, a sleeping bag, a camp chair and a garbage can were found in the shed.

A creek feeder panel reportedly was stolen on Gage Road and Cooke Canyon Road.

Fire

A large burn pile was reported on Scott Drive in Cle Elum.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Dec. 5-6 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

A 31-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Bail $1,000.

A 38-year-old Kalama man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $5,000.

A 33-year-old Bellingham woman was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license and failure to appear for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $15,000.

A 23-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Central Washington University Police officers for failure to appear for first-degree trafficking stolen property, failure to appear for second-degree organized retail theft, and two counts failure to appear for second-degree theft. Bail $10,000.

A 38-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for first-degree trafficking stolen property and failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $5,000.

A 40-year-old Dallesport man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to comply for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to comply for violating an occupancy license. Bail $100,000.

A 53-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $1,000.
