Police | Kittcom received the following calls on July 9-10 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • Two cows, one brown and one black, were reported in the road on Smithson Road.
  • A hit and run was reported on East First Street.
  • Two chihuahuas were reported in the road on East Second Street in Cle Elum.
  • A person reported finding what was believed to be methamphetamine in a bathroom on West University Way.
  • A horse was reported in the road on Westside Road.
  • Two dogs reportedly had been inside a parked vehicle for 40 minutes on South Water Street.
  • An Australian shepherd reportedly was running loose on West 13th Avenue.
  • There was a report of someone spray painting the sidewalk underneath Interstate 90 at West Fifth Avenue.
  • A man with tattoos wearing a green tank top reportedly was standing in the sprinklers, pointing at cars, waving his arms and standing in the way of people exiting a business on South Canyon Road.
  • There was a report of a pitbull mix attacking chickens on Marie Avenue in South Cle Elum.
  • There was a report of people loitering in the area, leaving garbage and clothing and defecating on the sidewalk on East Second Avenue.
  • A vehicle reportedly hit a fence and left the scene on South Willow Street.
  • There was a report of a graffiti on a residence in an alley on West First Avenue and South Main Street in Kittitas.
  • A dog, possibly a beagle, reportedly was loose on North Ellington Street.
  • A phone reportedly was stolen in Roslyn.
  • A non-injury collision was reported in a parking lot on state Route 97.
  • There was a report of someone riding his bicycle in the dark with no headlight or rear reflector, against the traffic and filing to stop at stop signs on East Capitol Avenue.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on July 9-10 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A Toyota Camry reportedly was on fire on I-90 east bound, mile post 119.
  • The left rear wheel of a boat trailer pulled by a motorhome reportedly was on fire on I-90 east bound, mile post 82.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from July 9-10 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 31-year-old Tri-Cities woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for probation violation for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Bail $2,100.
  • A 34-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Bail $15,000.
  • A 28-year-old Selah man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $25,000.
  • A 29-year-old Royal City woman was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,000.
  • A 22-year-old Spokane man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $10,000.
  • A 33-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for fourth-degree assault. Bail $15,000.
  • A 52-year-old Auburn man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $10,000.
  • A 34-year-old Bellevue man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $15,000.
  • A 32-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license and third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $2,000.
  • A 36-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $15,000.
