Police | Kittcom received the following calls on July 10-11 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A collision was reported on Interstate 90, mile post 128.
  • An odor of marijuana was reported on East Dean Nicholson Boulevard and East 11th Avenue.
  • A husky reportedly was at large on South Main Street and West Capitol Avenue.
  • Graffiti was reported on a dugout on East Dean Nicholson Boulevard.
  • A collision was reported on Anderson Road and Umptanum Road.
  • A dog reportedly was in the back of a Nissan Altima with the windows rolled down a little bit on Water Street.
  • A power line reportedly became detached on South Seventh Street in Roslyn.
  • Packages reportedly were stolen from a residence on East Fifth Avenue.
  • Two windows reportedly were broken at a cabin in the past week on Liberty Road.
  • An assault was reported on Koinonia Lane.
  • A man reportedly has been smoking under the covered area by a children’s playground for the past three days on North Poplar Street.
  • Two small dogs reportedly were running in the road on East Third Street and Yakima Avenue.
  • A man reportedly approached dogs in truck bed. The dogs’ owner told the man not to mess with the dogs. The man told the dogs’ owner to mind his own business and then followed him to the parking lot and said, “You want some?” on West University Way.
  • A man reported his handgun missing, probably since June 30, in Kittitas County.
  • A woman reportedly drove away without disconnecting from the gas pump, causing damage to the pump on South Canyon Road.
  • A man on a bicycle reportedly was weaving in and out of traffic on West University Way.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on July 10-11 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • Subjects reportedly were having an outside fire on Tipton Road.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from July 10-11 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 26-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for second degree taking a vehicle, second-degree theft and possession of controlled substances. Bail $20,000.
  • A 28-year-old Spokane man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No bail.
  • A 30-year-old Puyallup man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,500.
