There was a report of males standing around outside arguing about drugs, the CIA and who killed their best friend on Spokane Street and First Avenue in Kittitas.

Connection pins for tow bars were reported stolen at the Indian John Rest Stop on Interstate 90.

Two bikes were reported stolen within the past couple of months on North Clark Street in Kittitas.

A pellet gun reportedly was fired into the windows of vintage vehicles on Dry Creek Road.

A hit and run was reported on West Fourth Avenue and North Pearl Street.

There was a report of a person threatening another person with garden shears on Black Bear Drive near Cle Elum.

A tire on a vehicle reportedly was slashed on North Alder Street.

Six yearling black cows of unknown ownership were reported at a residence off of Vantage Highway.

The tires of a vehicle were slashed and the vehicle tabs reportedly stolen on South Pearl Street.

A dog had reportedly been in the cab of a Ford F250 with the windows cracked open for a couple of hours on North First Street and East Washington Avenue.

What started as a report of a dispute or fight reportedly turned out to just be intoxicated friends messing with each other on North Pearl Street.

A red Dodge Dakota was reported stolen on Grant Street in Cle Elum.

There was a report that a credit card was skimmed at a gas station on West First Street in Cle Elum.

A hit and run was reported in a parking lot on South Water Street.

Multiple thefts were reported at a horse camp in Salmon la Sac.

There was a report that a dog tied to a trailer on Canyon Road may not have had any water.

A non-injury collision involving a Subaru Outback and a Mercedes was reported on Teanaway Road and state Route 970.

People were reportedly setting off fireworks on Three Lakes Road near Cle Elum.

The extreme fire hazard sign was reported down on Manastash Road.

An osprey was reported trapped in a net and possibly dead on Manastash Road.

A non-injury collision involving a semi truck and Toyota van was reported on University Way at the roundabout.

There was a report of two young females spraying their skateboards on city park grass on Brook Lane.

There was a report of people lighting off M80-type fireworks on Black Bear Driver near Cle Elum.

A grey medium-sized pitbull-mix reportedly was running in and out of traffic on South Canyon Road and West Mountain View Avenue.

People reportedly shooting off big fireworks in Ronald.

A firework reportedly struck a man’s leg causing a burn on North Pierce Street in Kittitas.

There was a report of someone setting off fireworks on Maci Court.

People reportedly were setting off fireworks on East Chason Avenue.

There was a report of fireworks being set off on West Cascade Court.

People reportedly were setting off fireworks on West 11th Avenue and North Columbia Street.

People reportedly were setting off fireworks in the middle of the road on state Route 903 in Ronald.

Large fireworks reportedly were being set off on Woods and Steele Road.

A small brown calf reportedly was running west bound on West Bender Road.

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on July 3 -5 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

Smoke was reported on Laurena Lane.

A fire was reported in a yard on West Bowers Road.

Two campfires were reported on a beach on Kachess Dam Road.

A campfire was reported on Smith Drive in Easton.

There was a report of someone bring brush on Madison Avenue in South Cle Elum.

Dry grass reportedly was burning next to a patio or Clerf Road.

A campfire on a beach was reported on Lake Cabins Road. There people were asked to put out the fire and refused to do so.

A grass fire reportedly from the fireworks show was reported on North Poplar Street.

An outside fire was reported on Brick Mill Road.

An outside fire was reported on North Thorp Highway.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from July 2-5 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

A 55-year-old Easton man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $1,000.

A 20-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $1,000.

A 31-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. No bail.

A 47-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for felony elude. No bail.

A 41-year-old Yakima man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,100.

A 40-year-old Everett man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $1,000.
