Police | Kittcom received the following calls on June 11-12 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • There was a report of 14 cows on property on Brown Road. Owner of the cows was unknown.
  • A low hanging wire was reported on East Third Avenue and North Pine Street.
  • A horse was reported on the Kittitas Highway.
  • There was a report of an ongoing problem with horses getting out of property on North Ferguson Road.
  • A hit and run was reported on North Walnut Street and East Seventh Avenue.
  • A truck reportedly struck a stop sign on 14th Avenue and Walnut Street.
  • A man reportedly was told to leave after urinating in a parking lot on West University Way.
  • There was a report of underage subjects drinking near the volleyball area in Irene Rinehart Park.
  • There was a report of a hiker with an injured leg off off Iron Creek Trail.
  • Two dogs reportedly were in a black Denali in a parking lot off West First Street in Cle Elum. The vehicle looked hot.
  • There was a report of a hit and run involving a Toyota 4-Runner striking a Nissan Titan on North Pine Street.
  • Younger black cattle reportedly were in and out of the roadway on Golf Course Road.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on June 11-12 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • An outside fire was reported on Dudley Road.
  • There was a report of a smoke investigation off Oakmont Drive near Cle Elum.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from June 11-12 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 25-year-old The Dalles, Oregon man was arrested by Central Washington University Police officers for possession/use/deliver of drug paraphernalia, display/conceal dangerous weapon and a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Bail $10,000.
  • A 21-year-old Wapato man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for two counts possession/delivery violation of the uniform controlled substance act, firearms by a minor, use of paraphernalia, use/possession of a firearm in a vehicle, and false statements to a public servant. Bail $10,000.
  • A 30-year-old Cle Elum man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for order restricting contact violation/domestic violence. No bail.
  • A 38-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to comply with third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence, fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest. Bail $50,000.
