  • There was a report of a man pushing a baby carriage on the shoulder of Interstate 90 near mile post 81. The man was thrashing his arms around as if punching at the air and lunging toward vehicles.
  • A Rottweiler reportedly pushed his way through a gate and into a residence on Okanogan Street.
  • A theft was reported on East University Way.
  • A calf was reported on the side of the road on East Helena Avenue and North Chestnut Street.
  • There was a report of a man selling puppies on Canyon Road and Mountain View Avenue. The concern was the puppies were in the sun.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on Forest Service Road 3300.
  • A non-injury collision involving a Nissan Pathfinder and a Kia was reported on North Water Street and West University Way.
  • An assault was reported on North Spokane Street.
  • A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on West Railroad Street.
  • Two vehicles reportedly backed into each other on South Main Street.
  • A Kindle Fire tablet reportedly was stolen on East Sixth Avenue.
  • A hit and run was reported on East Third Avenue.
  • A man who flipped over in a canoe reportedly needed assistance on Lake Cle Elum.
  • Shirts reportedly were stolen on South Main Street.
  • Hay was reported over the roadway on South Thorp Highway and Cove Road.
  • There was a report of a vehicle prowl on Marian Drive in Cle Elum.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on June 18-19 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • There was a report of smoke on North Lincoln Street.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from June 18-19 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 24-year-old Bremerton man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for a parole violation for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $15,000.
  • A 28-year-old Everett man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for parole violation for first-degree negligent driving and fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Bail $20,000.
  • A 43-year-old Yakima woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $5,000.
  • A 32-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for first-degree criminal trespass. Bail $5,000.
