Police

Kittcom received the following calls on June 12-13 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n A woman reported shooting her neighbor’s pitbull for attacking her sheep on Brick Mill Road.

n A request to put down a deer with back leg injuries was reported on Upper Peoh Point Road.

n A collision was reported on Interstate 90, mile post 54.

n There was a report of a man and woman fighting at the intersection of East Manitoba Avenue and South Maple Street.

n A non-injury collision involving a Ford Fusion and a Chevy Colorado was reported on North Chestnut Street.

n A small dog reportedly was running in and out of the road on North Ruby Street and East Second Avenue.

n A vehicle vs. building collision was reported on West First Avenue.

n There was a report of a man and woman, possibly impaired on something, throwing garbage out of their vehicle and unable to pump gas on Gladmar Road.

n A theft was reported on North Ruby Street.

n A collision was reported on I-90 near Cle Elum.

n A non-injury collision involving a Freightliner Cascade and a Volvo was reported on South Canyon Road.

n There was a report of a man picking up construction cones and throwing them in the roadway on East Dean Nicholson Boulevard.

n An assault was reported on West University Way.

n A man reportedly was walking down the sidewalk on West Capitol Avenue and South Main Street carrying a 5 to 6 foot metal pipe. He appeared to be circling the area.

n A man reportedly woke up to find his ex-girlfriend in his bedroom yelling at him about money on North Cora Street. There was no forced entry or assault.

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on June 12-13 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n A fire alarm was reported on North Airport Road.

n An outside fire was reported on South Thorp Highway.

n There was a report of an outside fire on state Route 970 and Seaton Road. A woman was attempting to put out a yard fire with a hose, but the fire appeared to be out of control and growing.

n An outside fire was reported on Interstate 90, mile post 115.

n A bonfire was reported on West Cascade Court.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from June 12-13 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 29-year-old Pullman man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $3,000.

n A 29-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for second-degree driving with a suspended license and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $20,000.

n A 28-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to comply with making a false or misleading statement to a public servant and two counts of no contact order violation. Bail $125,000.

n A 50-year-old Longview woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for second-degree criminal trespass. Bail $500.

n A 30-year-old Longview man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for second-degree criminal trespass. Bail $500.

n A 58-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for 10 counts of violation of protection order/domestic violence. No bail.
