Police

Kittcom received the following calls on May 30-31 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

A planter and two potted plants were reported stolen on East Patrick Avenue.

A non-injury collision was reported on Suncadia Trail.

There was a report of a cow that did not look well on Reecer Creek and West University Way.

A calf was reported in the roadway on Wilson Creek Road.

A bike was reported stolen on North Walnut Street.

There was a report of a man wearing a white shirt and khaki pants, carrying a small-caliber gun with a wood stock on South Pine Street and East Foster Avenue.

A person reportedly called to ask that if he got into a fight with a person after being asked to fight, if he’d go to jail.

A woman reportedly stole a candy bar on South Canyon Road. She was last reported on foot heading northbound.

A non-injury collision involving a Cadillac and an older pickup was reported on Fourth Avenue and North Wenas Street.

A burglary was reported on Main Street.

Two Rottweilers reportedly were running loose on North Columbia Avenue and East Third Street.

A theft was reported on North Ruby Street.

A non-injury collision involving a Dodge Ram and a Dodge Dart was reported on North Airport Road.

Approximately three black cows were reported in a backyard on Look Road.

A subject reportedly uprooted a plant on Fifth Avenue and Pearl Street, but replanted it when confronted.

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on May 30-31(calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

An unconfirmed fire alarm was reported on South Chestnut Street.

A structure fire was reported on state Route 970, mile post 6.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from May 30-31 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

A 21-year-old Sunnyside man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for no contact order violation/probation violation, possession of a controlled substance, and failure to appear for second-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $5,300.

A 68-year-old Portland man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for a restraining order violation. Bail $10,000.

A 27-year-old Oakdale man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Bail $15,000.

A 28-year-old Aberdeen man was arrested by Department of Corrections officers for violation of community custody. No bail.

A 38-year-old Chehalis man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for viewing a depiction of minor-sex. No bail.

A 28-year-old Olympia man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for two counts of voyeurism. No bail.

A 44-year-old Snoqualmie man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’d deputies for first-degree assault. No bail.
