  • A German shepherd reportedly was running around with a broken leash on West Arizona Avenue and North First Street.
  • The driver’s side window of Toyota Tacoma reportedly was broken on West Cascade Court.
  • Dogs reportedly were locked in a grey Honda Odyssey with British Columbia plates on West Fourth Avenue and North Water Street.
  • Plants and a rose bush were reported missing from a porch on East Patrick Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported on East Fifth Avenue.
  • A non-injury collision involving a Subaru and a Toyota was reported on North Airport Road.
  • Several small dogs that appeared emaciated and in distress reportedly were inside a detached travel trailer.
  • A small, shaggy dog was reported in the roadway on West First Street in South Cle Elum.
  • There was a report of an ongoing problem with a man carrying a club with a skull on the end of it on North Mason Street.
  • An assault was reported on North Cora Street.
  • Water reportedly was shooting 16 feet into the air from the flower bed near the entrance of Reed Park on East Fifth Avenue.
  • An odor of marijuana was reported on the fourth-floor lounge of a building on North Alder Street.
  • A silver Honda reportedly was struck while parked on South Water Street.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on East Fourth Avenue and North Pine Street.
  • A man reportedly was laying on his stomach on the sidewalk on East University Way. When asked if he was OK, the man said he was waiting for his friends getting pizza.
  • Five sheep were reported in the roadway and several on the side of the road on Vantage Highway.
  • There was a report of a crossing bar coming down on a vehicle on North Thorp Highway.
  • A silver SUV reportedly was in a ditch on Kittitas Highway.
  • There was a report of a person having a photo of someone involved in card skimming on West First Street.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on West Third Avenue and North Water Street.
  • An Xbox reportedly was stolen on East Helena Avenue.
  • Approximately 100 head of sheep reportedly were blocking the roadway on Vantage Highway.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on South Canyon Road.
  • Two large dogs that appeared very thirsty and malnourished reportedly came out of the forest on North Columbia Avenue in Cle Elum.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on East First Street.
  • A cabin reportedly was broken into a Heron Drive near Cle Elum.
  • A Dodge Durango reportedly was partially submerged in a lake off on Interstate 90 at mile post 104.
  • Salt reportedly was poured into the gas tank of a vehicle parked on East 18th Avenue.
  • A person reported that a Hyundai Elanta left running the night before on North Chestnut Street was still running in the morning. The reporting party turned off the engine and reported a wallet was left sitting in the seat.
  • A dog reportedly was locked in Toyota van parked on East Mountain View Avenue.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on state Route 970.
  • A vehicle reportedly struck a deer on Manastash Road.
  • Two men reportedly were assaulting each other on East 11th Avenue.
  • A white horse was reported on the side of the road on Wilson Creek Road.
  • Three dogs reportedly were found wandering in the street on North B Street.
  • An odor of marijuana was reported coming from a residence hall on North Alder Street.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on June 1-3 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A fire alarm was reported on West 26th Avenue.
  • There was a smoke investigation at the Keechelus Boat Launch Road.
  • A fire alarm was reported on North Second Street in Roslyn.
  • An outside fire was reported on Thornton View Road near Cle Elum.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from June 1-3 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 33-year-old Kittitas man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for domestic violence, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. No bail listed.
  • A 27-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Bail $10,000.
  • A 28-year-old Tacoma man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $3,000.
  • A 22-year-old Yakima man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and reckless endangerment. Bail $2,000.
  • A 42-year-old Ellensburg woman was arrested to Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear and failure to comply with release conditions. Bail $26,000.
  • A 27-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $1,000.
  • A 22-year-old Yakima man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $1,000.
