Police | Kittcom received the following calls on Nov. 5-6 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • An assault was reported on East 17th Avenue.
  • Gasoline was reported stolen on Canyon Road.
  • Someone reportedly attempted to break in to a substation on Vantage Highway. A padlock was broken on a gate.
  • Fence and other rock block items reportedly were removed from property on Westside Road.
  • Someone reportedly cut fences for horses on Howard Road.
  • There was a report of a complaint about someone blowing leaves into the roadway on Ruby Street.
  • There was a report that a dog had been shot in the leg on state Route 97.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on Denmark Road.
  • A brown horse with a while spot on its forehead reportedly was standing in the middle of Sorenson Road.
  • A man reported he was fishing then another fisherman grabbed his fishing rod and took off at the Teanaway boat launch.
  • A Volvo semi reportedly was struck by a Freightliner on state Route 97.
  • A construction sign reportedly was overturned on North Main Street.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on Nov. 5-6 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • An unattended brush fire was reported on Kachess Lake Road.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Nov. 5-6 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 41-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $8,000.
  • A 22-year-old Duvall woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to appear for first-degree criminal trespass, failure to appear for second-degree malicious mischief, failure to appear for second-degree taking a vehicle and failure to appear for operating a vehicle without a valid license. Bail $6,100.
  • A 37-year-old Yakima man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to appear for second-degree criminal trespass, failure to appear for first-degree driving with as suspended license and failure to appear for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Bail $6,000.
  • A 30-year-old SeaTac man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for being a fugitive from justice. No bail.
  • A 25-year-old Goldendale man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for failure to pay or appear. Bail $3,008.
