Police | Kittcom received the following calls on Nov. 19-20 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A brown cow was reported on the side of the roadway on Wilson Creek Road.
  • Two German shepherds reportedly were running loose on Barbara Lane.
  • There was a report that a man brought down a tree and that it was partially blocking a lane on North Mason Street in Kittitas.
  • A man with red hair an orange pants reportedly was standing in the middle of the entrance to Interstate 90 at mile post 109.
  • A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on Ruby Street and Mountain View Avenue.
  • Plastic barbell weights were reported in an alley on First Street in Easton.
  • A theft was reported on Pit Way in Easton.
  • There was a report that a man in a black hoodie, wearing army pants and carrying a beer bottle asked a girl if she wanted to hang out and where he Greyhound station was on Cora Street.
  • A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on West Mountain View Avenue an South Main Street.
  • A large trash bag was reported in the center lane of South Canyon Road under the I-90 overpass.
  • A man reportedly was approaching people at the Indian John Rest Stop on I-90 and hanging around outside the women’s bathroom.
  • A man in his late 20s with light brown hair, a beard and wearing an olive green jacket reportedly was screaming and talking to himself on North Chestnut Street.
  • A grey and white husky reportedly was running loose on North Poplar Street.
  • A group of people at the basketball courts on East 11th Avenue reportedly were playing loud music, playing basketball and yelling.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on Nov. 19-20 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • Three juveniles reportedly as burning twigs and sticks in a small campfire on North Brook Court.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Nov. 19-20 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 31-year-old Yakima man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to comply with pay or appear. Bail $861.
