Police | Kittcom received the following calls on Oct. 28-29 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • An iPad reportedly was stolen on 13th Avenue.
  • A person reportedly lost a rifle while hunting on Coleman Creek Road.
  • A golden spaniel type dog reportedly was running in the roadway on Wilson Creek Road.
  • A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on Main Street.
  • A four-door sedan reportedly drove over a person’s foot on East University Way. The vehicle did not stop.
  • A non-injury collision was reported in a parking lot on East Dean Nicholson Boulevard.
  • A resident on Fourth Street in Cle Elum reportedly was requesting assistance with feral cats under his residence.
  • A game camera reportedly was stolen on Cohoe Road.
  • Cattle reportedly were in a person’s yard on Pfenning Road.
  • A loud nice that sounded like an explosion was reported on Pierce Street in Kittitas.
  • The stop sign coming out of the Goodwill parking lot on Water Street reportedly was facing the wrong way.
  • There was a report of a man with curly brown hair, wearing a beanie walking through the Central Washington University campus smoking a marijuana blunt.
  • There was a report of a man in his 40s wearing a coat with a reflective strip, changing his clothes off and on all night outside the fire station of West Second Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue in Cle Elum.
  • There was a report of a vehicle crashing into a parked vehicle on North Alder Street and East 11th Avenue.
  • There was a report of an ongoing problem with a man slapping the windows on the side of a house and then running around and disappearing on B Street in Roslyn.
  • Three cows were reported on the side of the road on Manastash Road.
  • A tree was reported down and blocking part of the roadway on Westside Road and Wallace Drive.
  • A tree and power line were reported down on Rossetti Way in Cle Elum. The tree was blocking the roadway.
  • A theft was reported on East Third Avenue and North Ruby Street.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on Oct. 28-29 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • No fire calls were reported in this time period.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Oct. 28-29 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 22-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to comply with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $25,000.
