Police | Kittcom received the following calls on Oct. 1-2 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • A flute was reported missing from Cle Elum-Roslyn High School on state Route 903.
  • A non-injury collision was reported on North Oakes Avenue and West First Street in Cle Elum.
  • A vehicle reportedly hit a fire hydrant on South Canyon Road.
  • An assault was reported on Sun Ridge Drive near Cle Elum.
  • A person came home to find spray paint on the walls, things thrown on the floor and “I hate you,” scratched into the walls with a knife on East White Birch Avenue.
  • A vehicle reportedly spun its tires, throwing gravel that hit someone in front of the Roslyn Post Office.
  • A vehicle reportedly was rear-ended on East Mountain View Avenue.
  • A person reported receiving a suspicious letter in the mail on McDonald Road.
  • A vehicle vs. pedestrian collision was reported on state Route 903.
  • A black dog reportedly was in and out of traffic on East 18th Avenue and North Wildcat Way.
  • A semi reportedly struck a diesel pump on South Canyon Road.

Fire | Kittcom received the following calls on Oct. 1-2 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

  • No fire calls were reported in this time period.

Arrests | The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Oct. 1-2 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

  • A 29-year-old Danville man was arrested by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, third-degree driving with a suspended license and obstructing a public servant. Bail $25,000.
  • A 45-year-old Federal Way man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs/parole violation. Bail $3,100.
  • A 20-year-old Couer d’Alene, Idaho man was arrested by Ellensburg Police offices for failure to appear for harassment. Bail $3,000.
  • A 29-year-old Kent man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office deputies for first-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. No bail.
  • A 63-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office deputies for failure to comply with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $25,000.
  • A 28-year-old Cle Elum man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff Office deputies for felony violation of a protection order and second-degree assault. No bail.
