Kittcom received the following calls on Sept. 26-27 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

There was a report that the traffic light above the left-hand turn lane heading south bound on Main Street from University Way appeared to be falling apart, wires were visible and it was swaying. The light was still functioning properly.

Four burn marks reportedly were found on a floor on East University Way.

A man with black hair, a beard and wearing a hoodie reportedly keyed a vehicle and wrote something obscene on the vehicle parked in a North Ruby Street parking lot.

A person on Craig’s Hill looking down into the Ellensburg Rodeo arena reported seeing people sneaking around the arena and entering the Gold Buckle Club.

There was a report that a tree was about to fall on a house and power lines on state Route 903 near Ronald.

There was a report of hunters trespassing and possibly killing a few animals off of Fox Road and Lyons Road.

A hit and run was reported on Wildcat Way.

There was a report that a dog had been attacked by two dogs last Friday on Helena Avenue.

A bale of hay was reported in the roadway on Wilson Creek.

A burglary was reported on Alder Street.

A non-injury collision involving a Nissan Altima and a Subaru Forester was reported on West Fourth Avenue and North Pearl Street.

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on Sept. 26-27 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

An outside fire was reported in a field near Water Street.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Sept. 26-27 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

A 35-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for firearms offenses and second-degree traffic of stolen property. No bail.

A 38-year-old Ronald man was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for violating an order restricting contact. Bail $1,000.
