Police

Kittcom received the following calls on Sept. 11-12 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n A woman reported there were six to eight women protesting outside of City Hall on Anderson Street. She reportedly observed the women utilizing hamster cage with a live baby inside it. She was not sure what they were protesting about exactly but was certain it was real.

n A white dog with a collar and tags reportedly walked into a residence on North Water Street and tried to fight the dog in the residence.

n A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on West University Way.

n Water, possibly from a broken water main, was reported over the roadway on Capitol Avenue.

n Two Labs were reported loose on Canyon Ranch Road.

n A Nintendo reportedly was stolen out of a vehicle on South Douglas Street. The vehicle was usually left unlocked.

n A man reportedly was passed out at the entrance to a store on South Water Street.

n A non-injury collision was reported on East Capitol Avenue.

n A black Angus bull was reported near the roadway on Reecer Creek Road.

n Several firearms and prescriptions believed to be stolen were found at a rental property on East Manitoba Avenue.

n A large, fluffy white dog reportedly was loose on Riverbottom Road.

n Someone reportedly was illegally using a dumpster on North Alder Street.

n Debris from a collision was reported on East Fourth Avenue and North Chestnut Street.

n Multiple items were reported stolen on West Pennsylvania Avenue.

n A park bench was reported stolen on West Fifth Avenue.

n Approximately six goats were reported loose on South Thorp Highway.

n Mail was reported stolen on North Main Street.

n A cell phone, two backpacks and a duffel bag reportedly were stolen from a vehicle on Kittitas Highway.

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on Sept. 11-12 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n No fire calls were reported during this time period.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Sept. 11-12 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 29-year-old Toppenish man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for failure to appear for third-degree driving with a suspended license. Bail $3,000.

n A 29-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for second-degree criminal trespassing. Bail $500.
