Kittcom received the following calls on Sept. 4-5 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n Three pigs reportedly were in the roadway making it difficult for a school bus to get through on No. 6 Road.

n Six cows of mixed colors reportedly were in the roadway on Badger Pocket Road.

n An electric bike with fat tires reportedly was stolen on East Fifth Avenue.

n Five black cows reportedly were in the roadway on Hungry Junction Road.

n A non-injury collision involving a Ford Focus and a Mazda was reported on South Willow Street and East Mountain View.

n Multiple sicks kittens were reported in a yard on Lynx Lane. The concern was a neighbor may be hoarding animals.

n A man reportedly was shooting a pellet gun at a target on South Chestnut Street.

n There was a report of several pairs of women’s underwear of different sizes hanging from tree branches and logs full of feces in the Middle Fork Teanaway area.

n A man reportedly was riding a tandem bicycle without a flag on Lyons Road. There was a concern he was not visible enough.

n Two horses reportedly were found in a back pasture on South Thorp Highway.

n An assault was reported on South Chestnut Street.

n A bicycle was reported stolen on South Pine Street.

n Glass was reported on the roadway on East 18th Avenue.

n Gun shots were reported on Red Fire Lane near Easton.

n Two children, ages 5 and 8, reportedly were running around machines and their mother was not doing anything about it on West Washington Avenue.

n An assault was reported on state Route 821, mile post 10.

Fire

Kittcom received the following calls on Sept. 4-5 (calls are made to the 911 line and the non-emergency business line):

n A smoke investigation was reported on Taneum Road.

n A semi truck reportedly was on fire on Interstate 90, mile post 62.

Arrests

The following people were booked in Kittitas County Jail from Sept. 4-5 (Bail and arresting agency information not available for all bookings):

n A 45-year-old Ellensburg man was arrested by Ellensburg Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. No bail.

n A 25-year-old South Cle Elum woman was arrested by Cle Elum-Roslyn-South Cle Elum Police officers for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. No bail.

n A 28-year-old Roslyn woman was arrested by Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputies for second-degree criminal trespass. Bail $500.

n A 35-year-old Lakewood man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Bail $1,000.

n A 35-year-old Cle Elum man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bail $5,000.

n A 60-year-old Chattanooga, Tennessee man was arrested by State Patrol troopers for being a fugitive from justice (no bail) and mail fraud ($250,000 bail).
