At the Ellensburg Farmers Market, we are fortunate enough to have a range of local artists. Whether you are looking for pottery, handmade jewelry, or a piece to put on your walls, the EFM has a little bit of everything, and back to our market this year is one of those creatives: Roxie Allen.

Roxie Allen Arts began in Ellensburg in 2014, originally selling at the Ellensburg Farmers Market, and offering classes at her studio on Third Avenue. Roxie’s art ranges from murals to the large textured trees you can find at the farmers market. With a passion for acrylic pain, vibrant colors, and textured pieces, Roxie has taught at least 400 classes and done over 50 murals in her career. She hopes to expand her work into theater, focusing on stage design and playing with color.

“I love it, I absolutely love it,” she said when asked about being an artist and teaching others, “everyone has so much more potential than they realize to do art.”

Roxie Allen can be found selling her acrylic works at the Ellensburg Farmers Market and on her website, as well as offering classes at her studio.
