Charles McGrath fills out his ballot at a voting booth at the Kittitas County Courthouse in Ellensburg on Nov. 6.

Based on unofficial results as of the 10 p.m. vote count Tuesday night it appears that the Ellensburg School District elementary school bond is short of the required 60 percent yes vote and Republicans will hold onto the state Representative Position 2 seat currently held by Matt Manweller.

In other contested county races, Paul Sander is ahead of Dovie Sigle in the contest for Lower District Court judge, and Nick Henderson holds a lead over Rick Tuckness in the race for county coroner.
