The 41st annual Roslyn Black Pioneers Emancipation Picnic is from noon to 8 p.m., Aug. 10 at the Cle Elum City Park, according to a news release from event organizers.

The picnic is a potluck so people are encouraged to bring food and beverages. Wes Craven is roasting a pig and he appreciates donations.

There will be games with prizes and free ice cream cones. Visitors are always welcome.
