Roadside Geology author Marli Miller will present a free lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday in Central Washington Univrreity’s Discovery Hall room 103, according to a news release.

“Assembling the Northwest: A Roadside View of Oregon and Washington Geology” will outline the geology of the Pacific Northwest as seen along the federal and state highways. Miller is the author of new editions of the Roadside Geology books for both Oregon and Washington. She will have books for sale after her lecture.

Parking is free after 4:30 p.m. in all CWU parking lots. Approach lots from the University Way and Chestnut Street intersection.

ADA parking spots are immediately adjacent to Discovery Hall. Approach from the Wildcat Way and 11th Avenue intersection.
