The federal Bureau of Reclamation, Yakima Field Office reported Thursday at the Yakima River Operations meeting that the Kittitas Reclamation District will have October water available, according to the news release from KRD.

As a result, KRD crews have immediately started the process of recharging the KRD delivery stem that has been off for irrigation deliveries since Sept. 24. Once the system is charged the KRD anticipates being able to make water deliveries until Oct. 15. Contact your ditchrider to make water orders.
