The Friends of the Ellensburg Public Library and the Ellensburg Public Library will present a program for all ages on local transportation from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, at Hal Holmes Community Center.

In the first part of the program, Ellensburg Police Department Corporal Jason Brunk will lead a discussion on bicycle safety, caring for safety equipment, signaling and the rules of the road.

In the second part, Central Transit manager Bruce Sakron will provide information about bus route changes, attachments for bikes on buses and the advantages of taking the bus. He will also address some of the transportation services that HopeSource provides.

There will be give-a-ways and snacks for children and adults.
