People submitted their names to run for Cle Elum City Council and Roslyn mayor on Tuesday.

Filing week for local elected office runs through Friday at the Kittitas County Auditor’s Office.

Cle Elum City Council incumbents Mickey Holz and Steve Harper filed for re-election Tuesday. Four other seats on the council are open this year.

Brent Hals filed for Roslyn mayor. He was appointed to the position at the Council’s last meeting.

Richard Seay and Claire Lucke filed for Cle Elum-Roslyn School Board. Three seats are open.

Jonathan Leonard filed for Position 3 on the Ellensburg School Board. Thomas Duke has filed for Position 1 and Marion (Maddie) Crisman filed for Position 4.

Other filings and openings include:

n County assessor, one-year unexpired term. Current assessor Mike Hougardy has filed.

n Hospital District 1 (Lower County), one seat. Bob Crowe and Rich Elliott filed.

n Hospital District 2 (Upper County), two seats. Fred Benjamin and Claire Hein Nicholls filed.

n Ellensburg City Council, three seats. Nancy Lillquist filed for Position 1, Jim Johnson filed for Position 2 and Mary Morgan filed for Position 3.

n Kittitas City Council, four seats. Pat Cort has filed for mayor, John Camarata filed for Position 1 and Lou Whitford filed for Position 5.

n Roslyn City Council, five seats (including mayor). Dustin Rand Auckland filed for City Council Position 3. Incumbent Doug Kilgore and Linda Ringer filed for Position 5.

n Town of South Cle Elum, four seats.

n Damman School Board, three seats. Marlene Pfeifer filed.

n Easton School Board, four seats. Christopher Helgeson, Jen Knox, Amy Grove and John R. Jensen filed.

n Thorp School Board, three seats. Rachel Carlson and Tamara McDonnell-Holmes filed.

n Kittitas School Board, three seats.

n Upper County Parks and Recreation District board, four seats.

Multiple seats also are open on local fire, water and cemetery district boards.
