The ChillAxle Car Show and RC Race will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kittitas Valley Event Center, according to a news release from event organizers.

The car show features more than 100 collector cars showcased across the grounds.

The remote control race will be in Bloom Pavilion. The entire event is free to the public. RC Race registration and details are available at Jerrol’s located at 111 E University Way, 509-925-9851 or online at RC.Jerrols.com. Racing is limited to electric vehicles. There will be chance for the public to tryout the track with their own vehicles for a $10 fee from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday. Racing will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

There will be an array of vintage, domestics, imports, and modern muscle cars as well as local car clubs. The show will offer a memorable experience with some unique cars. The Grand Boulevard outside venue will provide show-goers with an historical walk-through of automotive history, with a display of the finest classic and historic vehicles from all eras ChillAxle is sponsored by the Kittitas Valley Event Center and Kelleher’s Motors. The RC race is sponsored by Jerrol’s.
