A Department of Transportation Response Truck employee was injured in collision on Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie Pass on Sunday.

Annabelle Avila Hernandez of Wentachee was conducting traffic control for a previous collision eastbound Interstate 90 milepost 54 blocking lane three of three when a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Jesus Romero Bailon reportedly lost control and struck the Ford F450. According to the report, Hernandez was injured but refused aid. Traffic cones were set up behind the vehicle closing the left lane.

The cause of the incident was speeding too fast for the conditions and Bailon, 21, of Quincy was charged with speeding.
