EASTON — An Issaquah man suspected of driving while under the influence of drugs was injured late Wednesday night after he crashed his Jeep on Interstate 90 near Easton, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Phillip S. Wise, 39, was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee westbound on I-90 near milepost 73 when he drifted into the median and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side and slide across the westbound lanes of the freeway.

Wise was taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. The crash was caused by driving under the influence of drugs, WSP said. Charges are pending.
