Hoe Down Downtown

The Dusty 45’s, seen her at the 2017 Hoedown in the Downtown, will be back to perform at this year’s event on Aug. 28.

The Ellensburg Downtown Association will kick off Labor Day weekend and the rodeo festivities with Hoedown in the Downtown on Aug. 28, sponsored by the Ellensburg Rodeo, according to the news release from the EDA.

From 7-10 p.m., the Rotary Pavilion will be transformed into a local hoedown with live music by the Dusty 45’s and Billy Mac, a beer and wine garden featuring Iron Horse Brewery, Whipsaw Brewing, and Gard Vintners, and food by Hot Diggidy Dog.

Dancing is encouraged with an open outdoor stage and plenty of room to watch as the Dusty 45’s light up the stage with their highly anticipated performance. Billy Mac, a well-known local musician, will be opening the show.

Hoedown in the Downtown is a free and family-friendly event, with the exception of the beer and wine garden, which is 21 and over only.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Gates to the beer and wine garden will open at 6:30 p.m. and the music will begin at 7 p.m.
