Ellensburg Downtown Association Director Molly Jones-Kerchner has resigned from her position after posting a video on Instagram where she called supporters of a presidential candidate an offensive word.

According to a statement released by the EDA, Jones-Kerchner’s resignation was submitted to the EDA Oct. 17, which was accepted by the Board of Directors two days later. Board President Megan West said the EDA chose to put out a statement to inform the community the EDA will be moving forward and is a place of inclusivity for all people.
