David Cohen, 51, of Seattle pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide and three charges of vehicular assault during his arraignment Tuesday in Kittitas County Superior Court.

On Aug. 27, Cohen was allegedly under the influence of prescription medication when his vehicle crashed near Cle Elum. His son, a 13-year-old boy, died in the crash.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Brian Moore said two of the children involved in the crash are still listed as being in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center while another has been updated to stable condition.

Moore said because the children were victims of a crime, WSP is not releasing the children’s names.

An omnibus hearing has been set for Oct. 1, a pre-trial hearing is set for Oct. 15, a status conference has been set for Nov. 19 and his trial is set for Nov. 20.
