Bargaining for higher wages is never easy, but in the climate of changing funding models, it gets a little bit trickier.

Cathie Day, the Ellensburg High School librarian and representative for the Ellensburg Education Association said the teachers reached a tentative agreement with the district on a two-year salary schedule after their last bargaining session on Wednesday.
