The city of Cle Elum has issued a report and summary of the scoping process for the 47-degree North Master Plan Project Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS), according to a news release from the city.

The project, proposed by Sun Communities, 627-site RV park, 527 single family manufactured units, 180 multi-family units and a 27-acre business park (which would be retained by Suncadia).

The scoping process began with the issuance of a SEPA Determination of Significance (DS) on Oct. 8, followed by a 21-day public comment period. During this time, a public scoping meeting was held on Oct. 23rd. Comments received during the comment period were summarized in the scoping summary document, which also includes a discussion of conclusions and revisions to the SEIS scope.

From this point forward, the SEIS process will continue toward a Draft SEIS document for public review and comment. Meanwhile, the City is anticipating a formal application from the 47 degrees North Master Plan Project team, which is anticipated in early 2020.
