ELLENSBURG—A Selah man was injured in a collision on Interstate 90, 13 miles west of Ellensburg, Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Marcimilliano Palafoxzamora, 29, was driving a 2006 Ford pickup westbound on I-90 when he crossed the left lane into the median and struck a bank and overturned. He was transported to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital with a sore neck, WSP said. His passenger was uninjured.

The pickup sustained $7,000 in damage and was towed by Cle Elum Towing. The cause of the collision was speed too fast for conditions and Palafoxzamora was charged with driving with wheels off roadway.
