Filing for the fall election closed on Friday with races in multiple positions in Kittitas County.

The primary election is on Aug. 4 and the general on Nov. 3. Washington is a top-two primary state, meaning in partisan positions, the top two vote receivers advance regardless of party affiliation.

In the Kittitas County commissioners primaries, only the people who live in that district vote. The entire county votes on the positions in the general election.
