The dogs are back in town. After a one-year hiatus those lovable wiener dogs and their owner are back for Dachshunds on Parade, which in addition to the parade features a costume contest and races. This year’s event is paired with the inaugural Germanfest. So, come into town today and enjoy the fun.

Thumbs up to Swan Lake

Enjoy your first summer break weekend by attending the performance of “Swan Lake” at 7 o’clock tonight at Morgan Middle School Performing Arts Center. The production is put on by the Central Washington Dance Ensemble.

The wonderful public libraries of Kittitas County are poised and ready to help keep your children active and reading this summer. The theme for this year’s program is A Universe of Stories. There are a variety of activities scheduled throughout the summer for a range of age groups through teens. Take advantage of these amazing resources each library provides.
