Kittitas Valley Healthcare and Kittitas County Hospital District No. 2 are holding a free drive-through flu shot clinic on Saturday, Oct. 26 in Cle Elum.

The event will be taking place on the west side of Kittitas Valley Healthcare’s Urgent Care Clinic located at 214 W. First Street in Cle Elum. Individuals should enter from West Second Street and turn south on Billings Avenue. This free clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until vaccines run out.

The CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older as the first and most important step in protecting against this potentially serious disease.

In addition to getting a seasonal flu vaccine, you can take everyday preventive actions like staying away from sick people, washing your hands to reduce the spread of germs and staying home or away from school if you think you may be sick with the flu.
