To the Editor:

My name is Jake Reynolds, I'm 15, and I've lived in Ellensburg for about six years now. I just wanted to share what I like about the city of Ellensburg.

First, I am a soccer player, and I really like the KVJSA (Kittitas Valley Junior Soccer Association) program here, because they offer refereeing jobs for high school and middle school kids. I've done that for a couple years, and I've enjoyed the friendliness between coaches of opposing teams, the good pay, and the fun it is in general.

Another thing I like about Ellensburg is its library. It has a great variety of books, very kind librarians and workers there, and it also offers fun activities like the summer reading program, which has a theme and other activities to go along with it.

One more thing is the school district. I came to Ellensburg at the beginning of my fourth-grade year, and am moving this summer having just completed my ninth-grade year. All of the teachers are very friendly, and they work hard so you can learn a lot. There is also a great variety of sports, clubs, and other activities.
