To the Editor:

Unmistakably, Ellensburg and the surrounding Kittitas County is a rapidly growing crossroad for our state. Central Washington is the fastest growing university in the state. Rep. Tom Dent is talking of upgrading and expanding our airport. We’re all aware of the influx of new families discovering Ellensburg’s natural and cultural virtues.

Healthcare is a prominent consideration for each of us. Rural hospitals across the country are facing momentous challenges with regards to financial means as well as recruiting and retaining quality physicians and nurses.

Roy Savoian has demonstrated his skillful ability to promote development during stages of growth. His 40 years’ experience as an economics and finance instructor, who nurtured thousands of want-to-be entrepreneurs toward their career goals, more than qualifies him for Kittitas County Hospital Commissioner.

I believe Roy is committed to continue working with other KVH Commissioners to secure the best possible community-focused healthcare system.
