Kittitas High School’s Brock Ravet, 32, looks to pass during a home game against Yakama Nation Tribal in 2018.

SPOKANE – Kittitas High School grad (‘19) Brock Ravet is taking an indefinite leave from Gonzaga University’s basketball program for personal reasons.

A school statement was released 20 minutes before Gonzaga’s exhibition matchup versus Lewis-Clark State College.

“We’re 100 percent supportive of Brock’s decision and we want the best for him,” said Gonzaga head coach Mark Few. “We’re doing every we can to support him.”

Ravet was expected to come off the bench and provide minutes this season for the Zags as a freshman.

At Kittitas, he led the Coyotes to three straight 2B state titles and became the state’s all-time leading scorer and first to reach 3,000.
