Ellensburg and Cle Elum-Roslyn high school boys basketball teams competed in the Central Washington University basketball camp at the Nicholson Pavilion last weekend.

In the high major division, the Bulldogs placed fourth among eight teams with a 4-3 record.

Ellensburg opened up the tournament on Friday defeating Eisenhower High School 57-51, and then Zillah High School 73-63.

On Saturday, Ellensburg dropped back-to-back games to Glacier Peak High School (52-32) and Lynden High School (58-47). But the Bulldogs then defeated Bainbridge High School 44-34.

On Sunday, Ellensburg beat Fife High School 48-34, but fell to Mount Vernon High School 43-36.

Cle Elum-Roslyn went 2-5 in the tournament, playing in the mid-major division for a fourth-place finish. On Friday, The Warriors lost to Stevenson High School 60-53 and then beat Cascade High School in a close one, 47-46.

Cle Elum defeated Morton High School 54-43 for its only other win.

Ellensburg JV went 3-3, and the C-team went 4-3.

Cle Elum-Roslyn JV was 0-7.
