The Bulldogs improved to 2-0 on Friday with a road win over EV, 56-45.

Ellensburg led 28-22 at the half, but EV’s run put them up 30-29 early in the third quarter. Ellensburg led 49-45 in the final minute and were able to pull away for the victory.

Dylan Philip and Maddie Kennedy each led EHS with 10 points. Kaelynn Smith added seven. EHS forced 26 turnovers.

Cle Elum-Roslyn girls defeat Riverside (Friday)

The Warriors defeated Riverside, 50-27.

A strong first quarter gave the Warriors a 12-point lead, and went into the half leading 28-15.

CE-R was led by Hallee Hink who scored 18 points. She also added a sterling 10 steals and six rebounds. Ariana Lombardi notched 15 points and six steals.

Cle Elum-Roslyn girls fall to Chelan (Thursday)

The Cle Elum-Roslyn High School girls basketball team fell to Chelan on Thursday, 41-30.

The Warriors led 15-14 at the half, but were outscored 27-15 in the final two quarters.

Grace Terrill led the Warriors in scoring with 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting. She added two assists and five steals. Dani Santa notched seven points, Ariana Lombardi had five boards.

Cle Elum-Roslyn boys lose to Chelan (Thursday)

The Cle Elum-Roslyn High School boys basketball team dropped a game to Chelan on Thursday, 76-69.

The Warriors trailed 21-17 after the first quarter, but had a strong second quarter outscoring Chelan 22-12 to take a 39-33 lead into the half. But the Warriors had a tough third quarter only scoring five points to Chelan’s 22.

Jake Kelly had 16 points and 11 rebounds. Luke Chafin scored 15 points going 5-for-6 from the 3. Jett Favero notched 10 points.

EHS boys fall to 0-2

The Ellensburg boys basketball team fell to East Valley Friday night, 59-48.

Kittitas boys lose on the road

The Kittitas boys basketball had a rematch with St. George’s Friday night and fell, 79-52.

Justin Hudson finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Josh Rosbach also had 19 points. Jaymeson Walters notched nine points and Beau Bryant finished with five.
