The Cle Elum City Council voted 5-1 Tuesday night to increase its contribution to the consolidated lodging tax grant process from $8,000 to 13 percent of its annual lodging tax collections. Council member Ken Ratliff voted no and council member Beth Williams was absent.

The Cle Elum City Council voted to commit $20,000 of 2019’s budget to a two-year pilot project for an Upper County to Ellensburg commuter bus during Tuesday’s council meeting.
